Description:
Verdugo / Tongva mountain area is one of my routine rides. The fire roads are steep, non-technical rides that are fun on a gravel or MTB. They give you access to mostly black trails.
I've been avoiding Beaudry South because it's such a steep climb, and the downhill is a little tricky on gravel. But now that I've got some practice on an MTB I'm realizing it's super fun. I would take Beaudry North up though. And if a 5 mile ride is too short, you can keep going north on Verdugo Peak.
