May 01, 2026 Caprazoppa Trail Report

Constantly on the brakes on this one. Rocky, steep, some tight switchbacks, overall not too difficult. Definitely some potential for over-the-bar crashes, stay focused! 2 or 3 very technical features, but overall not as hard as a north shore black/ double black. There is no exposure, and generally low consequences. Still, probably not enjoyable for average Joe. Won’t repeat, especially not as last trail of the day.
