How high is the snow?
- + 2
I went up Coral Pass Road, then across Noble Knob Trail in the snow.
There are several trees down across Coral Pass Road and I hit snow somewhere 5100ft to 5200ft elevation.
Snow was between two and three feet deep over most of the road and trails from that elevation and above.
Noble Knob trail has some clear chunks in southern exposure, but it was 90% snow to the Junction at Deep Creek Trail.
I wanted to ride down Ranger Creek, but it was getting later than I had planned for, Noble Knob was becoming very difficult to stay on trail due to snow.
I decided to try Deep Creek, despite the lack of trail reports. That seemed great until I got down out of the snow and into the burn area at around 5100ft elevation.
