May 09, 2026 Monte Poccet - Veneziana Trail Report

The first part to Cusinis is impassable except for the last 100m to the dirt road. An absolute waste of time and nerves. Better access on the dirt road under the Poccet mountain pasture. From Cusinis, I spent 15 minutes looking for a path because this track on Trailforx is also wrong. A descent with a lot of potential, but 3/4 of the way is almost impassable due to fallen old trees, every 20m there is a tree that will drive you crazy. The last part is impassable for 3/4 of the way as soon as you pass the cable lying on the ground. When you come out of the riverbed onto the dirt road, the path is closed with an orange construction net and you have to go through the bushes to the right onto a private plot to get to the asphalt. A beautiful path, but it is not worth anyone else taking it until it is cleaned up - it is better to delete it from Trailforx.
