Description:
Did Wayne’s Loop, worth an extra 1/2 mile on either side due to the unfinished road improvements. They’ve installed a nice driveway at the top of the road, some new bathrooms that aren’t open yet, picnic tables, and benches. It’s going to be really awesome once it’s open.
The trail was slightly grown over in some places, but not bad. I was disappointed to see that the ferns were really sparse and scraggly. I wonder if that is due to a dry winter or if we are just hitting the trail too early this year. It was so green and beautiful. One of my favorites.
