Description:
I tried going from the Sockeye CG on 5/25 and promptly retreated. On 5/26 I went up Redfish Ridge and down to the inlet camp. I cleared maybe 15 trees (what I could with a 7” Silky). There are a handful of large Douglas Fir down across the trail on the ridge and at lake level, but the main DH from the ridge to the lake is mostly clear now! There is a blowdown right after the Redfish Ridge junction, but it gets much better pretty quickly, so don’t let that deter you.

I would wait at least a few weeks or more before attempting this side of the lake. Redfish Creek to the inlet is great. Lots of snow about a 1/2... view
