Jun 27, 2026 Butterfly Trail Trail Report

There are a few spots that are over gtown and a few spots with very loose/soft soil on some turn. The only way finding problem we had was at a stream crossing. When you come to a Y in the trail towards the bottom of the downhill, stay right and continue down and cross the stream bed. Trail look to go left up the hill. The trail left goes to the jet wreck. There was a few downed trees along the way, they were in the 8" to 12" diameter and easy to climb over.
Overall, the trail is very rideable and easy to follow. (Other then the steep uphill climbs we had to push up. A must ride if you are into a back country adventure ride. Beautiful views.
