For the record: There’s a 200m section of this track with end-point at ‘Simons (latest) jump’ that isn’t shedding water and all of the runoff from the uphill side (numerous wet patches), flows down the track which will likely erode it. Best to mattock in some (half a dozen?), runoff runnels before that happens?
Note also: the upper part of Kokoda that used to do the same and was repaired, has since eroded again and is now a very incised ‘V’ section in lots of places instead of being relatively flat …
