Jul 05, 2026 Trail 8 Trail Report

This is a Blue trail. I’m old and have ridden hundreds of trails all over the world, and this would be classified as a mild blue trail. A Green is a trail with mild grades, low to no tech, and something you’d be comfortable taking your family of little kids on (not a Jackson Goldstone little kid). This trail has over 1000’ of climbing, some rooty-rocky sections, and some mild exposure. - Blue.
The trail has recovered nicely since the fire a few years ago. It’s a little overgrown and could use a good trim in some areas to avoid being pelted by the brush. But it is always a great trail to ride, and now has some good side trail options. Beautiful area and views at the top.
