Description:
I saw a cougar tonight, 2.8 miles up the road. I believe it was a young adult. It was in the middle of the road, lying down. The wind was blowing from it towards me, so it might not have heard or smelled me until I was close. When it saw me, it bolted into the woods. It did not aggressively.
