Description:
Overgown.
Trail hard to find, even with trail markers. Trekked up from Bucks Reserve. Trail entrance also not easy to find. Need tonuse NZTopo App with GPS locator to make sure you dont loose trail or miss it all together. Was challenging on foot, dont think its suitable for bike...the lower portion of trail from Bucks Reserve to qhere it splits to head uphill onto the Mt Frith track is easy going and ok for bike... but once you start on the Mt Frith trail it is overgrown.

Still very overgrown and difficult to ride in places, expect to hike the bike a fair amount. Start from the Pylon track, I wouldn't recommend this... view

Only very short sections are ridable due to gorse and Manuka either growing on the track surface or over hanging/blocking track. Track is hard to... view
