Jul 26, 2026 Griftof Trail Report

This trail seems to be closed as the others but... this one is in the best condition of all - at least the forest parts. It's far from perfect, it's often overgrown (first place so much that you can easily miss the turn and go straight to the bushes, then it's better, but better have a gpx loaded if you don't know the trail) and berms are falling apart, but it is rideable. Just be careful and don't expect the field parts to be as good - it is a grazing area for cows - private land for sure. Expect cows and some of their sh!t here and there - those beautiful views aren't for free. There is tree laying down at the very beginning after first berm impossible to ride over or around it. Because of cows there are electric fences in two places but both are easy to open just don't forget to close them back (I will add to map these points later). Again - be careful riding this trail. Please mind also that at the very end trail goes through private property (maybe 10-15 meters of yard, not gated). I don't like this kind of situations because you never know if this will end up good or bad (depends on the land owner). This time a good kid called me good morning.
