Description:
Trail 716 is heavily overgrown from about 0.75 mi. below junction with Tongue Mtn trail all the way to Jewel Lakes. Tread is loose and in poor condition for much of the trail as well. It is passible the whole way, but in bad shape. Descending from Jewel to Blackfoot Lk would be treacherous, coming up was bad enough...
