Description:
Rode all but Wild Turkey 1 and 2 because of time constraints. Removed all large deadfall blocking trail. Removed downed tree on Loop 5. A lot of erosion and sand accumulation. Most of the sand should disperse as the trail is ridden more. Some rutted areas from people not respecting drying time the trail needs after heavy rain.

We are working on fixing the horse riding issue. But it’s easier said than done. CLIMB doesn’t set the rules in there unfortunately. It’s up to the town to enforce any rules. Because of the still wet grassy areas yesterday I was able to track where the horses are coming from. They are coming from the stables south of the Mil Rd lot and entering via the Mill Rd lot entrance. I will inform the VP of Suffolk CLIMB this info. Perhaps he could have Brookhaven Town Code Enforcement or the Town Attorney’s representative pay them a visit
