im trying to tell you guys that you left scaping tools in the forest and there are teenage boys now randomly reshaping the jumps you guys spend a thousand community hours making with heavy machinery and can now get run over by bikers trying the "open and finished' trail, and your response is to give me attitude? you are seriously NOT HELPING THE ISSUE

i have also complained to the nipissing mattawa conservation authority that your nbmba team member brent bull is telling people that they are not allowed to use this trail unless they give your group a membership fee so read this carefully because you seem to have a hard time reading correctly : YOU DO NOT have it written ANYWHERE in your agreement for the land use to tell ANYONE that they need to give your group money to use these trails by any means, and that counts as a threat of EXTORSION. cheers and happy sending.

What are you talking about? North bay mountain bike association in works with all trail partners have been slowly re-designing and improving the escarpment. This trail has been improved with professional machinery and hundreds of hours of volunteer work by hand to build something reputable for the province. There are some gaps, with lines around for all abilities. The trail “berms” actually has berms on it for the first time in 5 years and everyone is raving about it. You think you can build something better? Go do it! We’ll happily ride it and review it.

i am not a liar, i witnessed teenage boys taking the scaping tools and they made the second set of rollers into an even stupider shaped gap jump and ive already fixed that back the shape that was intended in the re-design and the problems i listed are limited to the jumps. do not misread my posts, i enjoy 99% of the improvements to the trail, try not to forget i make video and photo evidence. try not to pretend that im an idiot either, because it only makes you look foolish. "think you can build something better?" you are so amazingly childish regarding this issue.

your post also makes the assumption that i dont know anything about the groups trying to rework old trails. i literally warned one of the enduro race series nbmba leaders that this would happen, i told her im concerned that young riders with nothing but free time on their hands would make the rollers into taller and poorly shaped gap jumps and it LITERALLY HAPPENED 40 HOURS LATER.

So you’re saying that you witnessed teenage kids reshaping jumps, and instead of going to stop them, or take the time to educate them on how to do it properly, you just watched them and went home and complained on the internet about it? And then later went back and changed it to a flat table top because you didn’t like the original gap? It’s going to be an interesting trail network if anyone can just go and change any features they don’t like…

youre welcome, have a good day, you argue like a complete fool. the gaps are still there, now anyone can jump as hard and fast as they want to without extra risk to breaking their bike or body, you can actually also pump for speed on a table top, and there was dirt missing from the inside rollers and they were also being reshaped into gaps with blunt faces on the inside. i seriously wont reply to you any further i refuse to argue with someone who hides their face and name like a coward. i would literally not even give two shits if every gap jump in the city was completely filled in; you still get to jump off the ramp and land on the landing if you did it fast, but some of you guys are riding your bike for your EGO and not for FUN.

@turbotimetimbo: so building gap jumps for people’s ego is not okay… but filling in table tops because you can’t make the gap is okay so it protects your ego? Which one is it?

@Mtbking198: making fun of people who probably cant do the gap unless the dirt is just perfect for grip around the super fast new berms is also a completely mature way to handle this situation, and totally not confirming my assumption that you guys are just in a big circle jerk competition to claim themselves as the best rider in north bay, you damned complete utter dunce.
