Description:
Trail is all clear of obstacles, largely thanks to the fire crew working the Paradise Fire this summer. The tread has been widened in many places, which has opened up the visibility for the rider’s benefit. A few short sections are a bit torn up, clearly the trail served as a fire block. These should settle with moisture and traffic. For the most part the trail is in great condition top to bottom. A few steep turns still need switchback rework to be rideable. The upper trailhead is getting some “repair” attention from the fire cleanup crew, which makes it seem like access is prohibited. This is true for vehicle access, but the trail is open. It needs signage.
