Description:
To add to comment by kiffy March 23. I have noticed healthy trees being taken out since the end of last season. This is being done systematically on Shuttlebunny and Hillbilly. I noticed some more today. Suspect it is to increase Strava times. Some are cut off at pedal height.
Whoever is doing this should respect the original trail builders vision. We have unique single track here. In addition to encouraging more ATV traffic this results in different lines being taken, braiding and widening of the trail. There are many bike parks with wide machine groomed trails without trees to slow you down or catch your bars. Ride there and keep these trails the way they are. Please stop doing this and if you see someone taking the healthy trees out educate them.
We can't go back to pristine single track once it's gone.
