Description:
Moosalamoo trail is a hiking trail that is closed to bikes. If the Firrest Service were to open it for bikes with some work it could be a nice riding trail, however best to leave the bike at home.

 I rode the trail today going downhill. I came in from Oak Ridge and found that the trail while open to bikes had some tricky sections towards the top. There were also quite a few water bars that were made up of stone and usually you needed to dismount to carry your bike over. With some more work this could be a much more fun trail. I bet the climb in the current condition is quite challenging as well.

 According to the Moosalamoo website(moosalamoo.org/map) this trail is now open to mountain bikes.

I plan to bike this section soon and will report back.
