Description:
Fun trail but I would rate more than a green due to navigational challenges near the observatory and steep sections. We had to climb a fence, some very steep sections so needed to hike a bike up and down. Lots of tall grass in some sections and cattle holes. We met lots of cattle. Very beautiful!

Cycling is no longer permitted on this trail, as per the land manager, Nature's Trust. Hiking is still allowed. view

 If you were climbing fences and scrambling up and down steep sections... you will have been either off-trail, or were implementing sections of the Balsam Route into the White lake Loop. Check the listing on www.SweetSingletrack.ca for perhaps better definitions of the route you seek... Andrew
