Description:
Just a cautionary note that I encountered a cable/wire between two trees at the very end of trail/road jnc at parking lot about 12 inches off ground. I did not see it in time, pedal caught it and flipped me over resulting in 2 broken ribs. Looked like it was deliberately placed across. Some nice people who picked me off the ground unwrapped the cable from the tree so it hopefully doesn't happen again but be aware out there

 This is the old telegraph cable. I’m guessing that you were shortcutting to the parking lot instead of using the actual trail. Stay on the trail and shit like this won’t happen to you.
