Description:
A very historic trail, it dates back at least to the early 1900’s, possibly earlier to the Buffalo Hunt era of the 1870’s or even earlier to the Fur Trade Era of the early 1800’s. Ewan Moberly used to have his canoe for rent to cross the Smoky River for $5.00, and it is believed this trail led to that crossing, which was also used by the Fay Expedition to Tumbler Ridge area in 1914.
