The BLT Trail will be CLOSED to all traffic (vehicular, pedestrian, bicycle) starting tomorrow at 12:00 pm between Fraser Rd. and Silver Birch Drive. This is to install a bridge at the Cranberry Lake crossing, near the 103 overpass. The closure is expected to last about three days. Please respect the closure as there will be very large vehicles on the trail and it will be unsafe for use. There will be signage posted at the entrances but we cannot staff them at all times so we need full cooperation from the community to keep everyone safe. If you know people who use the trail who are not on social media, please give them a call and let them know. We apologize for the short notice, especially to our friends at The Bluff Wilderness Hiking Trail. Permits have been obtained from the Department of Environment to conduct this work.
