Description:
Returned to ride this trail again and take the right branch on the steep hill, where I made a navigation error a few weeks ago. Counted at least a dozen trees or heavy branches across the trail, but lifting the the bike over is no problem.
Lots of dead leaves on the ground now, making navigation a little more challenging. You might ask yourself a few times, "Where the halibut does the trail go from here?"
This trail is 10% unpleasant and rugged climbing, 10% steep switchback descent, and 80% pure joy. It put a big smile on my face.
If you need pampered, well maintained mountain bike highways then this may not be the trail for you. But if you like a little rugged adventure, this trails is fantastic. It's my new favorite trail on Sumas.
