Description:
I found this trail to be harder than some of the comments implied. 95% of the climb is rideable but there are still some short sections that require hike a bike (which I hate) at least at my skill level and I'm typically a very strong climber on technical uphill. Maybe due to the late monsoon rains it's become more technical. Probably would only do this trail once a year at most. Beautiful area though.

This trail should be divided into 2 trails. Lower Mesquite (Blue Trail) and Upper Mesquite (Black) at Waddell intersection. view
