Description:
Rode this as a climb out from the canyon/wash after the first section of PCE (reverse of route listed here). The first section was mostly all hike a bike (for me at least), super steep switchbacks. From there it levelled out with some exposure and then some fun narrow singletrack. FYI the Trailforks route looks like it mirrors the wash instead of the singletrack for a bit, so definitely stay on the Singletrack. Trail was in great shape at least from Pinyon Flats trail down to Dry Wash trail. The section I rode was NOT a black diamond trail. It was blue... view

Overall Pinyon Flats trail is in great shape but it is a little overgrown in spots and lots of loose rocks. Fun desert ride. view
