Description:
The trails up AF Canyon are now officially under the Spring wet trails closure. Here's the email notice from Ranger Cheryl:

"Hi all,
It is that time of year again (well earlier than usual…) where everyone wants to start hitting the trail. Please keep in mind we are under a wet trail closure in American Fork Canyon for the following trails: Pine Hollow 047, Mill Canyon 040, Tibble Fork 041, Salamander Flat 150, Ridge Trail 157, Mud Springs 173, Willow Hollow 159, South Fork Little Deer Creek 252. This means these trails are open only to hiking until the signs are removed.
The roads up American Fork Canyon are also closed at Tibble Fork and SR-92 at Pine Hollow. No one should be behind the closed gates.
For alternative locations try some of the front country trails, possibly Big Springs, municipality trail systems (if they are open), or other areas farther south or west that may be dry. Please remember all trails are susceptible to damage when they are wet. As anxious as we all are to get out, please wait for the right conditions."
