Sales desde el pintoresco barrio de la Monzona donde comienza una pista que te deja en los corrales de los Almorochos. Ya en el alto, y por antiguos bancales de cultivo ahora en desuso, te adentras en una frondosa senda. Debes estar atento a tu GPS, la ruta serpentea bastante y ruedas en algunos tramos por bancales con hierba muy densa. Tras una espectacular bajada por un senda que corta la ladera de una rambla, cruzas el río Rodeche para tomar de nuevo una senda paralela al barranco del mismo nombre, no es muy aérea pero tienes las sensación de estar colgado de sus paredes y pese a los pocos kilómetros recorridos, tus piernas “quemarán” con las cortas pero explosivas subidas. Para darle más emoción, un par de rocas en el camino ponen a prueba tu habilidad sobre la bici. En pocas palabras: enduro puro y duro.

COSAS QUE DEBES SABER
* Esta ruta requiere de un buen manejo de los cambios y la tija telescópica para no quedarse “pillado”.
* Sensación de aislamiento durante la parte central de la ruta.
* Hemos “decorado” una parte del recorrido con huesos de una vaca que murió allí, no te los lleves y mantén la “decoración”.
* El cruce del río Rodeche tras días fuertes de lluvia puede ser complicado, si dudas, consúltanos.
* Hay muchos rincones sin cobertura, sobre todo en la parte final, en caso de accidente intenta coger altura para encontrar señal.

01 Mateba-Rodeche is a 11 mile popular expert route located near Montanejos. This mountain bike only route. This route includes 7 trails. This route climbs 1,878 ft with a max elevation of 2,978 ft then descends -1,884 ft.
