Don't be put off by the rating, if you have a decent head-space and can handle moderate blacks / tough blues, you will enjoy this trail! I don't think this trail deserves DBD. I'd say it's more like a blue, with about a dozen small black features, most of which happen to have exposure. All the features are obvious coming up to them as long as you keep your speed low, and easily walkable if you don't want to ride them.

Trail Trail 257
Great trail. Downed tree about 1/4 mile above the connector, but otherwise a nice trip downhill.

Felt good to get a proper pucker in. This is a fun trail. A few techy sections but seems like once you know the lines everything flows nicely! Avoid if you're not real stoked on exposure.

This was exactly what I was looking for!! Bring your A-game for this one. Steep, narrow, rocky, rooty, techy switchbacks, off-camber exposure, and loved every bit!!! Perhaps the gnarliest descent in the area. Amazing view of CDA lake.

Fast as hell downhill if you want. Watch out for those pine cones.

Big mistake for me. Pretty dangerous exposure and rocks that you can’t clear. Walked a lot, wish I would have taken another route.

8-11-18. This is a popular trail for the CDA area and it does get some shuddle traffic. Beautiful trail up or down. This time of year is moon dust season but still worth it. We ride up the payment and down the single track.

It went from "Caribou" to "Careful boo"! Real quick! But the first 20 min of decent on this trail is a masterpiece in design. The ultimate flow trail of the INW and by far the my favorite trail.

Rode this for the first time today. The upper part is a lot like 257 et al in this area...fun, not too steep to techy singletrack. The lower part is pretty exposed and has some challenging rock and root features. It reminds me a little bit of the Portal Trail in Moab. Fun, but you better be ok with trail carved into a steep hillside!

This is one of my favorite sections of trail in this area. A little tighter in places than 257, but like 257, the sequence of corners makes for just plain fun riding. It has been in good shape all season.

All in good shape other than braking bumps and more root exposure due to dry conditions and use. It gets rougher this time of year so normal conditions I suppose.
