Easy, gravel road, jeep tracks & single tracks with some technical (with Chicken Runs). Suitable for beginner mountain bikers that are use to off road riding.

The route takes you out of the Crossways gate and along the road to the Upper Yellow single track trail. On this trail you can decide to add the 2km Bridge View loop which is a more technical, rocky section with awesome views. The Upper Yellow loops back through the forest and ends across the Crossways dam. Including the Bridge View loop this section is 9km.

From the Crossway dam you cycle on tar through the village before entering the Lower Yellow Monkey single track which loops back to the starting point. On the Lower Yellow you have the option of alternative routing down Long Drop Alley or the You're Gorgeous Trails.

3Rivers: Yellow Monkey is a 9 mile popular easy route located near Thornhill. This mountain bike primary route can be used one direction and has a easy overall physical rating. This route includes 4 trails. This route climbs 436 ft with a max elevation of 856 ft then descends -447 ft.
