Fun, entertaining trail with a number of easy doubles and small drops. I really enjoyed the wall ride and felt I could carry some pretty good speed through it.

Overall great trail. Like so many other trails here though, it would be nice to not spend so much time maching straight down the fall line, riding the brakes, eating up all that vertical you just earned. Some more effective use of natural features, more supported turns and some opportunities for air would make this trail epic.

I think this trail is well intentioned and more trails like this are needed in this trail system. However, the very tight/low berms and airs are spaced too closely to give proper time to set up for and exit the features, (it seems like the intention was to make this a flow trail). It rides more like a crazed bull running through a burning house.

Not to be negative, but it is almost like this trail builder was trying to frustrate anyone who wants to ride a bike on this trail. It is filled with a large number of very tight, literally 180 degree, unsupported switchbacks. These are loads of fun if your bike skills have not progressed since 1992. Otherwise, it is a bit annoying after riding that sweet ridge that features drops and cool views.

I don't understand why this is a green trail in Trailforks. There is a sign at the top that says that this trail is for advanced riders only.

Its a good trail and all but the best in Montana... basically all the downhill parts of the Bangtail Divide trail were much better than this trail.

A for effort, D- for execution. Features are cool, but lack good transitions. For example, wooden berm is cool but transitions into of camber trail. The features could be great if the transitions were more flow. Most berms would also benefit from being laid out on a larger radius. Like I said before great try, but the devil is in the details or lack there of.

Here here. Spot on review. That wall ride wood feature was a waste of effort... that feature would be excellent as a berm or some situation where G-forces would keep you stuck to it. Otherwise the corners need to be wider radius to take advantage of the supportive berms that were placed.

Always fun, nothing too technical to be worried about, rather docile, and very beautiful!

If you like trails that kick your butt, then this is a great beginner trail.

Just bad trail building here. No line of sight and tight switch backs. Just when you think you can open it up, you're thrown a switchback with no warning. Probably too steep to make for a fun climb also.

This trail actually passes to the west side of the kiln ruins rather than the east side. The Google Maps trail label is in the right spot.

Thanks. D's original upload was based on the PPLT shapefile, and that must have been changed or a sketch.
