If you are riding down the waterfall trail it would be considered a black or possibly a double black trail. Just FYI.

Ride as part of a loop, starting at the falls and riding back to the parking lot. the good: creek runs along trail and flows into September so great for riding with pups
The less good: Tight switchbacks and rocky/tooth drops were no joke. Hike a bike the reverse of what I did but defo would rate it a black south of the cedar grove.

Crashed like tech stocks in 2000. 10/10, would ride again.

Agree with the other commenters, trail was 75% hike a bike, should be black or double black! No way should this look the same on the map as Edith Hansen, which was a super smooth flowy trail. We made the mistake of taking our fam with young riders on it and had to Sherpa them up the mountain unexpectedly. Not fun.

Trail Radar Slide
Fun but not worth the push up Radar connector. Maybe if you are coming down from the service road

Nice trail. Shaded from the sun. It is a hiking trail as well so you can't fly down. But it looked well maintained.

Nice dirt and topography. Trail still is kinda young and hasn’t quite decided if it’s a flow line.

Not a blue trail after the grove. Double black?

The 2020 trail work season has started up at Mica Peak. Evergreen East crews will be out tuning the trail and adding features. Keep an eye out for the new work and be aware the dirt may still be soft. Don’t let this stop you from riding it tho. Get up there and check it out!

This trail is a blast! Even with 5 inches of snow on it. It’s still under construction so tread carefully, but it is very rideable.

I would only recommend biking up this trail to the switchbacks. After that it is 75/25 hike a bike. Coming up the west connect and Edith Hansen trail would provide more uphill riding and less hike a bike scrambling.

I enjoyed this trail. Definitely some hike-a-bike after cedar grove (maybe a mile). I went left at the cabin and did upper loop. A couple trees down but overall it was fast and flowy. I would do it again.

Terrible trail. A lot of hike a bike. Much of it was a scramble after what looks like mud slides. Not worth it.
