This map shows dirt bikes are not allowed. However the forest service MVUM shows dirt bikes being allowed.

Overall good trail! If your going to bike I would recommend either shuttling it or take the fire road to the East going up! It’s a 7 mile descent and the first 3.5 is pretty underwhelming for a black diamond trail the top half is more of a blue square trail. But if your looking to shred some fast rocky descents the bottom half is A TON of fun. I would wait till mid may to go so the snow melt has had adequate time but overall a fun descent!

Rode 7/24, up Spring Hollow, out Syncline, and down Dry Canyon. Dry, dusty, and challenging to ride/hike the first 2 miles of SH, due to slick dust, loose rock, and 95 degree heat! Awesome epic views at the top. 1 Moose. 2 Cows. Zero MTB besides me. (2 nice hikers). Go get some!
