Great trail-enduro loop, one of the most spectacular ones that Val d’Aran has to offer. It has everything to be considered a real challenge: distance, altitude gain, technical difficulty, height ... An adventure that will take you through the alpine pastures of the Luishonés up to over 2000 m in the Poilanèr plains.
From there, almost 1200 m of descent in 8 km of varied path: first, alpine traverses where you would say you cannot ride a bike and then endless turns through the forest until you reach Es Bòrdes again, with a sore body and a smile on the face. The trail has steep sections and fairly exposed parts, which make this route technically very demanding.
If the distance or the difference in level exceeds your posibilities, you can “cheat” going up by car or hiring a transfer to Portilhon or Còth de Baretja, thus saving you a lot of work. This is a GPS route, unmarked on the ground. Download the track and enjoy this adventure
