Start at the parking lot for the training fields. Take the Pulpit Rock Urban Trail doubletrack east into the park. At about 0.6 miles, cross over some doubletrack as you "enter" the park through a break in the fence. You'll be on an Access Road at mile 0.7, continue up the road.
Take the right at mile 0.85 onto Rockhurst Descent. Keep climbing At mile 1.1, keep on Rockhurst Descent as you take the switchback left. Then at mile 1.2, keep left.
The top of Rockhurst Descent ends at mile 1.4, take a left onto South Hill. The next intersection will be at mile 1.8, stay right to stay on South Hill.
At mile 2.1, stay on straight on South Hill. The next intersection at mile 2.15, take a left to continue on South Hill.
Finally some downhill! Not for long though. Cross over the neighborhood access trail at mile 2.45 to stay on South Hill.
After a punchy up, you'll cross over another neighborhood access trail at mile 2.8 to a tricky area. Climb over and look left for Loose Moose Downhill to descend a fun, yet short bit.
Loose Moose Downhill ends at mile 3, stay right onto Mr. Goates. Stay straight onto Mr. Goates at mile 3.2, then again at mile 3.4.
This is the last big climb! Stay left at mile 4.4 to keep climbing. The next intersection at mile 4.5, you'll be able to cross over another neighborhood access trail that is double track onto Carousel.
Take Carousel all the way until it dead ends near Pulpit Rock at mile 5.1 onto a sharp, downhill right switchback onto Pulpit Rock Trail.
This is a fun trail, but keep in mind it's popular for hikers to get up to Pulpit Rock. Look for a four way intersection at mile 5.5 and take a left to stay on Pulpit Rock Trail.
Stay straight at mile 5.8 onto House Hopper North to keep under Pulpit Rock. Bomb down the wide open trail as your go behind the field building back to the parking lot.
You made it!
