From the Donner picnic area, about a mile in, tree mitigation and the trail has been bulldozed. Very hard to get through to find the trail on the other side of the mitigation. Also, some snow patches to walk across. Better to start at the parking area off Hwy 89 at Hobart Mills Road. Variableview

In great condition. Two downed trees together which you have to lift your bike over. No problem with acoustic, but e-bike by yourself might be rough. Several small mud/creek crossings. Variableview

Significant sections of snow along the trail several of which are not passable by bike. Ended up walking several long, steep, slippery sections until I was able to get out to the highway and pedal home. Needs a few more days for sure. Snow Packedview

About 3-5% snow coverage, more icy than powdery. Mud is frozen hard early but thaws into a mud bath later in the morning. Still lots of fun. One downed tree mid-way but easily walked around. Freeze/thaw Cycleview
