This is a rare Loop in the Palisades Backcountry because it is mostly 100% rideable. It is best to bicycle this loop in the counter-clockwise direction and that is how I will describe it. Start at the public boat launch on Fall Creek road. This ensures an opportunity to swim after the ride! The ride North on Fall creek road is paved and lightly travelled with a slow speed limit. The ride up Mosquito Creek road is on dirt and not too steep. The loop levels out a bit once you get up to the Divide trail. The North Fork Fall Creek trail is a super fun downhill that empties onto a dirt road that seems to keep going downhill forever. After a short up you are at Red Top and have a paved downhill almost all the way back.
