Course Overview- MUST READ

Pros/Experts- Ride all stages and transfers as laid out below, in order.

-Roughly 5,800' of climbing and 5,800' of lift assist
-Roughly 11,693' of descent

Sport- Ride stages in this order 1,2,6,5. Once you complete stage 2, upload Chair 3 to access the start for Stage 6. You will need to upload the gondola after stage 6. Stage 5 starts next to Chair 3. Once Stage 5 is complete, please transfer down the mountain on open, non race trails ONLY. Do not stop at your car after Stage 6, we need to get Stage 5 clear so that PRO/Expert riders can compete their day on time.

Transfer and Stage Descriptions



Transfer 1- Everyone

Depart from the village and climb about 2000' to 5 corners. Start on the Trail of CDA's. Turn right on Division St., turn left on Slaughterhouse Gulch, continue to 5 corners

Stage 1- Everyone

Soup Kitchen and Mom Jeans are much more established this season, but get ready for some 100% raw action on War Gerbil. Traction is your friend, that and some legs for a couple short sprints. Trail crew was putting the finishing touches in at 5pm on Thursday.


Transfer 2- Everyone
Ride down Frog Trees, hop on the Trail of CDA's, load the gondola.


Stage 2- Frankenbeans - Everyone
Classic DH course with an optional sender on Baby Swiss, which IS A LARGE GAP, do not roll.


SPORT- See Course Notes at top of Description for Transfer Details.


Transfer 3- PRO/Expert Only
Up Chair 3, down the bunny hill and follow the signs to Wardner Peak.


Stage 3- Hot Dog Hallway - PRO/Expert Only
100% new raw trail! Adult tires are your friend in the scree, ply and a half tires are a half measure.


Transfer 4 PRO/Expert Only
Rocky and loose, it's short but bumpy transfer. Follow the signs to Kellogg Peak.


Stage 4- Stix & Stones to Snake Pit -PRO/Expert Only
More new trail on this one, zig where you used to zag for a bonus loam harvest. With the new hand built section you also get more of Snake Pit this year.


Transfer 5- Chair 3


Stage 5- El Burro Loco to Lower Jackass to Corkscrew- Everyone
Full mix of blue flow and tech, jump the root!


Transfer 6 PRO/Expert Only
Cruise down to 5 corners and then hang a left and start climbing to Chair 3 for your final upload. DO NOT CONTINUE DOWN FROM 5 CORNERS.


Stage 6- Hammer to Goat Rodeo to Mutton Conductor to Spooky Woods to Wide Open Road - Wide Open - Secret Squirrel - Man Child - Frog Trees - Everyone
Top to bottom madness. Watch out for 3,400' of descent.
