L'itinerario che vi presentiamo è un emozionante percorso ad anello da percorrere in senso orario, pensato per gli amanti della mountain bike che desiderano sperimentare una suggestiva esperienza in una zona affacciata sulla meravigliosa Riserva del Pian di Spagna.
Questo percorso è adatto a ciclisti di livello intermedio, con tratti che offrono sfide leggere per i principianti ma anche opportunità di sfruttare la tecnica e la velocità per i più esperti.
Il percorso parte da Sorico, in provincia di Como, e si snoda lungo le rive del lago di Como. Dopo circa 6 km, si raggiunge Albonico, un piccolo borgo medievale arroccato su una collina. Da qui, si prosegue su strade sterrate e sentieri che attraversano la riserva naturale del Pian di Spagna. Il percorso è caratterizzato da un dislivello relativamente contenuto, ma presenta alcuni tratti impegnativi, in particolare la salita ad Albonico e il tratto in mulattiera che porta al Sasso di Dascio. Il Sasso di Dascio è un punto panoramico situato a circa 550 m di altitudine. Da qui, si gode di una vista mozzafiato sul Pian di Spagna, il lago di Mezzola e le montagne circostanti. L'area è attrezzata con un'area di sosta, una fontana e un belvedere. È un luogo ideale per una pausa, per ammirare il panorama e per ricaricare le energie.
Da Dascio si rientra sul lungolago di Sorico passando per i sentieri e le mulattiere storiche del piccolo borgo di Caprili.

Sorico Loop is a 7 mile moderately popular easy route located near Gera Lario. This mountain bike primary route can be used one direction and has a moderate overall physical rating. This route includes 3 trails. This route climbs 1,055 ft with a max elevation of 1,307 ft then descends -1,063 ft.
