Ride The Luge like a local Start at the parking lot and go right on S18. Continue until you turn right Modjeska Grade Road. Continue until a clearing on the right that marks the start of the Santiago Truck Trail.

Pop into your granny gear and enjoy the amazing views as you pedal. There is a short optional trail called My Humps on the ascent that is a steep technical climb to a technical downhill. Otherwise, keep to the truck trail to arrive at the flagpole that marks the beginning of The Luge.

First-time riders should take it easy as there are sharp turns and hikers do ascend on this trail. Some riders wear a bell to alert other trail users to their presence.

The top section of the trail is loose and rocky. It gives way to flowy trail interspersed with rocky sections.

Stop by Cook's Corner after the ride for great food and a cold beverage of your choice!

Enjoy one of the best trails in the LA area!
