Great ride in either direction. Clockwise it climbs easier, counter-clockwise the downhill is more fun Late May to early June this ride is prime. One of the best rides in Central Montana, especially CCW.

Windy Mtn Loop is a 15 mile popular intermediate route located near Great Falls Montana. This mountain bike primary route can be used both directions and has a hard overall physical rating. This route includes 3 trails. This route climbs 3,130 ft with a max elevation of 5,857 ft then descends -3,135 ft.
