A wide trail that eventually leads to and follows a ridge high above a dry oxbow of the Yukon River. There are spectacular views of the surrounding mountain country. This double track trail is the backbone of the trail system with several trails branches out along it's entire length.

Access Info

As you're driving south along the Alaska Highway watch for a "Yukon RC Modellers Airfield" sign on the left side of the highway. Turn left onto the entrance road to the airfield and park in the small area on your right. There's enough room for approximately 8-10 small cars. Do not park in front of the blue gate or on the road going into the airfield On the south side of this small parking area there is a very short connector trail that intersects the 3 Benches trail.
