The Anderson Trail is 9.3 miles in length from trailhead to the junction with the Fourmile Trail. It begins at Forest Road 645 - Fourmile Rd. and ends at forest trail 569 - Fourmile Trail. A relatively moderate trail through steep terrain, it crosses the eastern shoulder of Pagosa Peak. Fourmile Lake is at mile seven. The trail then continues south one mile to the Fourmile Trail.
