The Beginner Flow Loop welcomes you to Buckcreek. It may be labeled a beginner green trail, but that doesn't mean you can zone out and just pedal, pedal, pedal. The singletrack twists and turns over loose scrabble rock through meadows and stands of mesquite trees. The trail's elevation gain and loss is negligible, which lends to the feel of flow. On your left and right, you'll notice there's plenty of pointy, pokey, prickly things waiting to get you or your tires. Maybe even a rattling friend! Just let that guy slither past--he is, after all, THE trail boss.
You may have already figured this out, but it doesn't hurt to have a spare tube, even if you're tubeless. And it'll definitely hurt when you fall into a prickly pear patch!! Now that you've been introduced, let's ride!!
Note: You'll see little name markers throughout Buckcreek. They aren't trails. They pay homage to the trail builders and features of the trail. In addition, when you go over the bars, you can tell your friends it was at "BUCKCREEK"S REVENGE." Sounds legit. Of course, when you claim a superman-bar spin-backflip, everyone will know you were at "ELI'S DREAM," and that it didn't happen.
