This trail starts at the Lacy Creek Trailhead, visits the Bobcat Lakes, passes by Bobcat Mountain (elev. 9165ft), Grassy Lake, and meets up with the Pattengail Creek Trail which can be followed in either direction. As you might expect there are some great views and the lakes are beautiful. This trail has some very steep climbs, especially going up from Lacy Creek Trailhead.

Mountain Bikes: While mountain bikes are allowed, the trail is not ideal for mountain biking due to the steepness. If you were to bike it, starting from the other end by riding up the Pioneer Trail first might be the best way, but bare in mind that the accent up Pioneer is not particularly easy either, and the descent down to Lacy Creek Trailhead is BURLY.
