It is challenging, but not impossible by far, I recommend it to anyone who can do blue trails and think they JUST MIGHT want to try a Black.
There were three small patches of snow, two right on the trail - one 30 yards long, the other only about 5, but easy to walk around. Snow, on June 10!
You can park at the base of the mountain near "Bruce's Picnic Area," and then it goes like this:
There are really four trails, the main one being Brewers.
1.) The paved road switchback, straight up. In a low gear, steady at it, not as hard as it sounds even though the elevation gain is quite a bit. It took me 1hr3m to climb-bike up it from the parking lot by Bruce's picnic area.
2.) Brewer trail proper. From the top parking lot you need to go down a dirt ATV road for 1/4 mile or less, the trail then zips off on the left. I only walked it on a couple up-hills with rocks that were beyond my skill set, and had a cliff next to it. Safety first! The rest I could do perfectly fine, and I bike a lot but am not an expert or competitor. Great trail, beautiful views. Don't forget to look behind you - sometimes the Wind River Range, AKA 'The Winds', is at your back with all their beauty.
3.) Return trail part 1, "Sage Draw." Coming to it, it's a T intersection, take a L (W-bound, towards the parking lot, if you know where you are). This was only a short jog. Quickly another fork intersection appears; I don't know where the R way goes, the Left is Sage Draw, which connects you to...
4.) Sinks Canyon Trail. Generally a two-track for an ATV or ORV, and at this point all up-hill.

One inch snow at the top mile or so. Frozen ground between miles 1-3ish. Between 3-7 miles either frozen or muddy places. Good traction on 99% of the trail. In the morning it will still be frozen with great traction. Afternoon will give it chance to melt. Great trail and pretty views
