Ca Gianca

Description:
The starting point is the train station of Sestri Levante. From there, head towards the hills riding along Via Antica Romana in the direction of the hospital. Past the hospital, at the traffic lights about 200 m further on, turn left and climb towards the church of San Bernardo, where you can fill up your bottle with water.
Keep climbing for about 1 km and pick up the forest road to your left, heading in the direction of Selva, where the core of our route begins: very technical, with a fast and flowing middle section. The surface is loamy, quite difficult to find anywhere else and it is great under the wheels; however, mind the paved section near the bottom that can be tricky when it is wet. At the end of the trail, you will be near San Bernardo church, from here you can go back to Sestri Levante.
Take a breath and don't miss a visit to Sestri Levante, the 'Two Seas Town', a name that it gets from its two bays, that of Fairytales and that of Silence, enchanting beaches Christian Andersen fell in love with during his stay in 1833.
