Above the new reroute lies the what's left of "old" Corbly. Raw and primitive makes this trail an adventure no matter the direction ridden/pushed. The trail is fiarly well established, however the trail is very rough and rocky and very steep in some sections, which makes for very little uphill riding. Trail alternates between steep creek bed, open meadows and forested slopes eventually popping out in the alpine. When the trail disappears after a quick rock scramble, look uphill to the left and you'll see the sign for the Foothills Trail. Head straight up the hill towards the insanely steep trail and you hit the (ridable, finally!) switchbacks to gain the saddle below Sac Peak.

Just about as dry as it's going to get. One tiny patch of snow, and one small wet section, otherwise it's great.

Going up, expect mostly hike-a-bike. Going down, expect real rowdy downhill. It's real rocky and steep. If 2 miles of super steep pinball is fun for you, then you'll have a blast.
