hike There is a lot of snow as you get close to the Jasper Lake travel zone, in the 2'-4' range and drifts up to 10' to 15'. There were limited campsites at Jasper lake because most of it was snow covered. Runoff was high and it turned the trail into a small river with about 2"-6" in depth.

We did try to go to devils thumb lake, but turned back because of snow. Would have been better with snow shoes.

There was one downed tree on the trail that was blocking the trail. 		Snow Coveredview
