This portion of the Dew Drop Traverse is most typically used for ascending. The trail is a mix of single track and decommissioned double track that switchbacks up the ridge. The climb can be quite strenuous in several places along the trail.

      Quite dry for most of the climb. Little bit of moisture in the woods up high, but all the usual water holes are bone dry. Otherwise clear.
