Double Eagle was recently adopted and made official by the USFS. In addition, upgrades and reroutes were done. There are currently no signs. It now begins just below the main 10K South entrance. It serves as a connector to King of the Mountain and can be used to link or loop many different rides in both directions. Starting from the north end at the 10K South parking lot, it travels due south, gently descending and then climbs towards King of the Mountain. Prior to the junction it splits; make sure you take the left branch. It is densely forested and overall, a pretty nice trail.
